Un eveniment fain are loc in weekendul asta in Colorado. 70 de oameni s-au adunat pentru perioada 6-8 Iulie. Timp de circa 48 de ore vor lucra incontinuu la un startup nou, luat de la zero si lansat duminica la miezul noptii. Fiecare din cei 70 de oameni vor primi o parte egala din noul startup. E clar ca nu se imbogateste nimeni prea curand din cei 1.43% care o sa-i primeasca fiecare, dar oportunitatea de a invata si de a-ti face cunostinte noi in domeniul startup-urilor mi se pare fantastica.

Gasiti pe blogul StartupWeekend detalii postate din ora in ora cu ce s-a mai intamplat. Si-au ales deja ideea de start-up, acu sa vedem ce iese. Totul a pornit de la postul asta, si cum sunt abonat la blogul ala, astept de ceva timp sa se lanseze experimentul.

In the Boulder/Denver mini Valley there is a sizable chunk of humble talent. Let’s get together, pick and idea and launch a startup around the idea in a weekend. Discussion for the idea will take place on this blog, the top 3 ideas will be pitched on Friday night. Saturday morning (midnight + 1 or 8am?) we will split into teams, and go. Developers, designers, hell we even have a massage therapist coming to pitch in.
